Brands That Shine to Add 2 New Brands in Q3

Brands That Shine welcomes Resurgence Gear, a high end, protective riding apparel line and Lextek, an exhaust manufacturer which offers best-in-class systems for a wide variety of motorcycles.

Brands that Shine will add two new brands during the second half of 2018. BTS welcomes Resurgence Gear, a high end, protective riding apparel line and Lextek, a UK based exhaust manufacturer which offers best-in-class systems for a wide variety of motorcycles.

Launched in Canada in 2013, Resurgence Gear entered the market with an innovative protective lining material called PEKEV, which was the result of around ten years material and design research. All their products use PEKEV linings, allowing for creation of the highest CE level 2 abrasion rating at 10.83 seconds for jeans. They’ve continued to innovate in design, style and protection and now have a wide variety of jeans, pants and jackets which all combine the PEKEV lining with a sense of comfort and style.

Lextek Products provides a range of aftermarket and OEM parts to help keep riders on the road. Through research, development and continuous improvement, Lextek strives to develop high quality, low cost products that exceed customers’ expectations. In addition, Lextek received Motorcycle Product Brand of the year honors in 2017 and 2018 from Dealer News Industry Awards.

“Over the last couple years of adding solid brands to represent through Brands That Shine, I am especially excited about these two,” said Jessica Shine, founder of Brands That Shine. “To me, safety is a huge priority and Resurgence Gear is tops for that. Lextek builds quality and affordable exhaust products which makes both brands fun to represent at shows and to customers.”
