KYMCO USA, Inc. is pleased to announce Sean Gatesy as the newly appointed Vice President of Sales in charge of both the U.S. and Canadian Markets starting May 14, 2018.

Gatesy started his career in the powersports industry as a General Manager in major dealerships in New Jersey. Prior to joining KYMCO USA, Gatesy’s sales leadership positions were with Textron, Arctic Cat and BRP. In total, Gatesy brings 19 years of industry experience developing the dealer network and understanding the challenges facing the industry at both the OEM level and the dealership level.
Gatesy excelled in his career with strong leadership skills and effective marketing and promotional programs achieving sales objectives. He is experienced in developing go-to-market wholesale and retail strategies to drive growth.

“At this time, with over half a century’s manufacturing excellency and success in all key European Markets, KYMCO has only scratched the surface of the market potential in the North America. While other OEMs have experienced stagnant sales and downsizes, KYMCO USA’s growth opportunity is unlimited,” Gatesy said.

With Gatesy’s expertise, coupled with the aggressive and determined new top management team, KYMCO USA will elevate the current double-digit growth to an even higher level.
He plans to recruit top talent to double KYMCO’s total sales force within a year.
