Yamaha Parts and Accessories has announced the availability of its GYTR Torque Assist Gear Kit for the 2017 YXZ1000R SS Pure Sport Side-by-Side with Sport Shift beginning in April of this year.
The GYTR T.A.G. kit was developed in tandem with the YXZ1000R SS to take full advantage of its capabilities while adapting it to the rockiest terrain and nastiest mud.
The GYTR Torque Assist Gear Kit provides a 30% reduction (70% 1st gear) vs. stock gearing and provides all the necessary Yamaha Genuine parts required (*Yamalube sold separately) for installation. The optimized motor control unit (MCU), factory pre-machined case, all Yamaha Genuine bearings, precision cut gears, speedometer calibrator and gaskets ensures the reliability and durability that Yamaha is known for.
In addition to the T.A.G. kit Yamaha is expanding its offering of wheels and tires to further enhance the terrain ability of both the YXZ1000R SS and the YXZ1000R with the addition of the KMC XD Series Machete wheel mounted on a 30”x10”x14”R EFX MotoClaw Tire. These light-weight, race-tested wheels are built for those who need precise equipment for imprecise environments while bringing their own style to it.
