Motorcycle & Powersports News (MPN) is headed to Germany for INTERMOT 2016 as the official publisher of the exclusive INTERMOT Live newsletter. MPN, published by Babcox Media, based in Akron, OH, will be producing three daily newsletters live from the show floor in Cologne, Germany. The newsletters will be distributed simultaneously to MPN’s digital subscribers as well as to INTERMOT’s email distribution list. Additionally, a special international print edition of MPN magazine will be distributed during the event at key show locations.“We look forward to deepening our relationship with INTERMOT,” says MPN Publisher Sean Donohue. “We will be producing daily updates packed with exciting and compelling news from this international powersports trade show – not only for our U.S.-based audience, but also for INTERMOT’s international group of trade visitors,” he adds. “This will giveMPN a great platform to reach an international audience while helping showcase INTERMOT to dealers and industry professionals in the U.S. We see it as a win for everyone involved.”

With its status as a platform for conducting international business, INTERMOT enables exhibitors to present new products and innovations in front of more than 200,000 trade visitors and enthusiasts. Manufacturers such as Indian and Harley-Davidson will be visibly increasing their participation in Cologne. Key players from nearly all of the motorcycle industry’s segments have registered to participate in the event. Approximately 1,000 exhibitors and visitors from more than 100 countries attended the previous show in 2014.

INTERMOT 2016 will be held October 5-9 and will showcase the latest motorcycles, scooters and e-bikes as well as the most important developments in the categories of electric mobility, accessories, clothing, parts, customizing, tourism and service department equipment on the Koelnmesse exhibition grounds (which includes more than one million square feet of exhibition space as well as approximately 800,000 square feet of outdoor space). October 5 is reserved exclusively for business intensive meetings and discussions with dealers and industry professionals. October 6-9 is reserved for enthusiasts to discover the latest products and new-model introductions for the motorcycle and powersports market.
