Corbin has introduced saddlebag liners by RKA Motorcycle Luggage. Although offering another layer of protection and weather proofing for cargo, the real value is the ability top remove them and take them with you when you need to.
The RKA Saddlebag liner set for the Slingshot includes four bags custom fitted to the Corbin Fleetliner saddlebags. Two triangular bags fill the bulk of the saddlebag’s space while a pair of “shaving kit” sized bags fit nicely in the front area and are perfect for the small stuff. All components are built with 600 x 300 Denier Polyester for durability and weather resistance. In fact, all RKA materials are rated at 100% waterproof, but they caution that seams and needle holes could allow intrusion.
Both large liners feature an adjustable shoulder strap to make handling them a breeze. Dual YKK zipper is an added convenience feature and allows the bags to fold completely open. The smaller bags have a convenient handle with rubber grip and also have attachment points for a strap if you wish. This would be a great piece to carry while away from the vehicle to house your portable camera, cell phone, keys and other incidentals as you’re out enjoying the day and exploring.
RKA Motorcycle Luggage has also developed a very nice pair of removable liners for the Slingshot storage compartments (located behind the seats). Built as large as practical to maximize volume yet still allows the liner to be easily removed from the compartment when needed. This provides plenty of room for a full face helmet and even gives a layer of protection for your lid’s paint.
