California-based Zero Motorcycles returns for the fifth straight year as the official ring sponsor for the 2015 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, presented by Harley-Davidson, on Saturday, Oct. 17, during the American International Motorcycle Expo at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando.

“The official Hall of Fame ring is the physical representation of not only an inductee’s place in the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame but also their place in the history of motorcycling,” said AMA Chief Operations Officer Jeff Massey. “Once again, we’re pleased that Zero Motorcycles has stepped up to provide the financial backing to make these important artifacts a reality for our motorcycling hereos.”

Tickets to the AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, presented by Harley-Davidson, are available now at www.motorcyclemuseum.org. Regular entry is $25 per person. VIP tickets that include an exclusive reception, reserved seating and one-day AIMExpo admission are $90 per person.

“Zero Motorcycles is honored to sponsor the ceremonial rings for the newest inductees,” said Scot Harden, the vice president of global marketing at Zero Motorcycles and an AMA Motorcycle Hall of Famer in his own right. “Being inducted into the AMA Hall of Fame is the culmination of a lifetime of commitment, dedication and achievement. It’s symbolic of the pioneering spirit, the willingness to dare at all costs, the commitment to push the boundaries and explore the limits of what was thought possible.

“These are virtues we admire, respect and, above all, share at Zero Motorcycles Harden said. “Our heartfelt congratulations go out to the Class of 2015.”

The prestigious AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame ring is a symbol of the significant contributions made by an inductee to the sport, business and lifestyle of motorcycling. The gold ring, which is created exclusively for the Hall of Fame, bears the institution’s logo, the “Glory Days” design and the name of the inductee.

The Class of 2015 includes road racing champion John Kocinski, off-road racing champion Rodney Smith, former Harley-Davidson CEO Richard Teerlink, entrepreneur and industry patron John Parham, dirt tracker Alex Jorgensen and longtime Yamaha Motor Corp. U.S.A. race team manager Keith McCarty.

The event also will honor three-time road racing World Champion Wayne Rainey as the 2015 AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Legend. Rainey, who himself was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 1999, is the president of MotoAmerica, the new home of the AMA Superbike Championship.

The 2015 Yamaha AMA Motorcycle Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony, presented by Harley-Davidson, is held in conjunction with AIMExpo Oct. 15-18. The AIMExpo is a diverse powersports event that is open to trade and media Oct. 15-16 and open to the general public Oct. 17-18.
