Since its introduction with the RF-105, the Shoei RF series has evolved through significant changes as a leading sport model helmet. Years of development, wind tunnel testing and on-track rider feedback have contributed greatly to this model’s growth, all leading up to the current Shoei RF-1200. The Shoei RF-1200 features lightweight Multi-Ply Matrix AIM+ Shell Construction. The helmet has a smaller, lighter yet stronger shell design; compact and aerodynamic, with attention paid towards wind-noise reduction without blocking road noises. Four shell sizes ensure a custom fit.
A dual density EPS liner accommodates more compact design without compromising ventilation flow. The helmet also includes breath guard and chin curtain, ventilation system, large lower three-position vent, three upper intake vents and four uniquely positioned upper exhaust outlet vents.
The 3D Max-Dry System II Interior has center pad components that are shaped to match contours of the rider’s head, allowing comfortable fit while maintaining firm hold for high-speed riding. The 3D-shaped cheek pads available in multiple thicknesses for custom fit. The Max-Dry System II liner material quickly absorbs and dissipates sweat and moisture.
E.Q.R.S. (Emergency Quick-Release System) allows emergency medical personnel to easily remove cheek pads from injured rider’s helmet and the CWR-1 Shield System features ribs along top and bottom to improve rigidity and eliminate bending from wind pressure during opening and closing.
Improved window beading features dual-layered, dual-lip construction that ensures windproof and waterproof seal with every closure. A locking mechanism easily engages shield lock when fully closed.
