BMW Motorrad USA has announced the launch of the all-new BMW K 1600 GTL Exclusive.

Leading the touring segment of BMW’s lineup, the Exclusive model features a 160-horsepower in-line six-cylinder engine. Additional features include central locking with an anti-theft alarm system, electronic suspension adjustment, dynamic traction control, LED auxiliary headlights and floor lighting, ABS and three selectable riding modes: rain, road and dynamic.

The bike also features an aluminum molded fuel tank, fully chromed exhaust system and a white metallic paint scheme with contrasting elements.

For the first time on a BMW motorcycle, the conventional ignition/steering lock has been replaced by the Keyless Ride system, eliminating the need to use a key in normal fashion. Instead, the steering lock, ignition, fuel filler flap and central locking are all controlled by a transponder integrated into the key, allowing the rider to keep it in his or her pocket.
