Piaggio Unveils 2014 Fly Scooter Models

The Fly 150 3V features a three-valve engine for more power and fuel efficiency, while the Fly 50 4V is equipped with a 50cc four-stroke, four-valve engine. Both models feature a low seat height of 29.9 inches and a large ergonomic seat for two-up riding.

Piaggio’s 2014 Fly 150 3V and Fly 50 4V scooters are now available in dealerships nationwide. They retail for $2,899 and $2,199, respectively.  

According to Piaggio, the Fly 150’s three-valve engine produces more power, is more fuel-efficient and has lower maintenance costs than previous engines. The service interval is 6,000 miles. Claimed fuel economy is 104 miles per gallon.

The new Fly 50 4V is equipped with a 50cc four-stroke, four-valve engine. Claimed fuel economy is 117 miles per gallon.

Both the 50cc and 150cc versions have a low seat height of 29.9 inches and a large ergonomic seat for two-up riding. Available colors are Graphic Black and Pearl White.
