Kear will be responsible for developing new and existing distribution and dealer networks, bolstering Kuryakyn’s ability to enhance the consumer motorcycle ownership experience within international markets. Prior to joining Kuryakyn, Kear was responsible for Dealer Commercial and Network Development with Honda Motorcycles Europe. John also held positions with Harley-Davidson in both the U.S. and Europe, as well as with Peugeot UK and other international business development roles totaling more than 25 years of experience in markets outside the U.S.

“We are very fortunate to have John join the Küryakyn Sales force,” said company president Holger Mohr. “His expertise developing distribution and dealer channels in markets outside the U.S. will further strengthen our international footprint by identifying and attaining powerful new business opportunities for not only Kuryakyn, but also for the Crusher and Bahn brands.

Originally from New York, John graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and still holds strong ties to the Badger State. Kear has spent the last 20 years living in the United Kingdom and France, gaining invaluable experience and perspective in all product and customer segments of non-U.S. motorcycle markets. “Kuryakyn’s bold and exciting products appeal to riders all over the world,” explains Kear. “I’m looking forward to proactively working with our worldwide distributor and dealer network to make an even greater contribution toward Kuryakyn’s ability to enrich riding and owning a motorcycle.
