Kuryakyn Implements MAP Policy

In an effort to further enhance the brand image and its competitiveness in the marketplace, Küryakyn Holdings, LLC, has announced the implementation of a Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) policy effective January 4, 2016.

In an effort to further enhance the brand image and its competitiveness in the marketplace, Küryakyn Holdings, LLC, has announced the implementation of a Minimum Advertised Pricing (MAP) policy effective January 4, 2016.

The MAP policy applies to all Küryakyn-branded products and will be applied unilaterally to ensure customers, dealers and distributors continue receiving high-value products with unmatched post-sales support. Policy guidelines limit domestic resellers to no more than a 10% advertised markdown from standard MSRP pricing, which will be applied to all in-store and online retail operations. Additionally, Küryakyn has adopted an automated monitoring service in order to better track online sales activities. This system enables timely and effective action toward enforcing the MAP policy for the benefit of all Küryakyn retailers.

“First and foremost, the MAP policy is designed to protect and support all Küryakyn dealers,” explains Küryakyn Director of Sales Jamie Nutzmann. “Actively monitoring coherence to the policy will further validate and reinforce the integrity of Küryakyn, as well as the Crusher and Bahn brands. This policy also significantly strengthens our value proposition for the entire Küryakyn domestic dealer and distributor network.”
