Victory Motorcycles has announced the return of the Magnum X-1 – the loudest Victory Bagger ever built, designed for serious music and motorcycle fans.
Victory Motorcycles has revealed the production version of the engine that powered Project 156 up Pikes Peak this summer, and will power an upcoming 1200cc class motorcycle. The engine was designed to deliver power and performance, and was shown off in a concept motorcycle built by European builder Urs Erbacher.
Victory Motorcycles, in partnership with Roland Sands Design and Cycle World, will race a new prototype engine at the Pike’s Peak International Hill Climb on June 28. The prototype racing motorcycle is named Project 156 for the 156 turns in the Pike’s Peak International Hill Climb.
Victory Racing will compete in the Isle of Man TT electric class, marking the first time that Victory Motorcycles has entered a professional motorcycle-racing event in Europe and raced an electric motorcycle. Parker, manufacturer of motion and control technologies and systems, is providing the race-proven, high performance GVM PMAC motors for both machines.
