Harley-Davidson has announced the extension of free Riding Academy motorcycle training to all current and former U.S. military, as well as first responders. The program will be available January 1 – December 31, 2016.

Harley-Davidson Reports Third-Quarter 2015 Earnings
Harley-Davidson, Inc. third-quarter 2015 net income was $140.3 million on consolidated revenue of $1.32 billion compared to net income of $150.1 million on consolidated revenue of $1.30 billion last year. Dealer new motorcycle sales were down 1.4 percent worldwide for the third quarter compared to last year, with sales down 2.5 percent in the U.S. and up 0.9 percent internationally.

Michelin and Harley-Davidson announced an agreement to sell the Michelin Scorcher, a co-branded motorcycle tire through all authorized Michelin and Harley-Davidson dealers. The Michelin Scorcher 11, the Scorcher 31 and the Scorcher 32 tires, original equipment tires on Harley-Davidson Sportster, Dyna, V-Rod and Harley-Davidson Street motorcycles, are now available more widely on the replacement market.
