SuperTrapp and Quaker Steak & Lube joined forces this summer to host Bike Nite Food Drives at six Quaker Steak & Lube locations. Bike Nite attendees were encouraged to make a food donation or a minimum of a $5 donation. Those who did received a free, commemorative “Fuel Your Passion While You Feed The Hungry” SuperTrapp and Quaker Steak & Lube Bike Nite T-shirt.
SuperTrapp and several other Cleveland area companies such as Cleveland Harley-Davidson Sales, DCM Manufacturing Inc. and Maradyne Corporation raised $686 and 225 lbs. of food to help benefit the Cleveland Foodbank’s Harvest for Hunger. Those donations coupled with donations at various SuperTrapp Bike Nite Food Drives throughout the summer generated $1,411 and 535 lbs. of food to help benefit various area food banks throughout Ohio and Pennsylvania.
“We greatly appreciated all of the riders and enthusiasts within our local communities who came together to make the SuperTrapp Bike Nite Food Drives a huge success,” said Gina Pastuszynski, SuperTrapp’s marketing manager. “Bike Nites are famous for a good time, great food, live music and loud pipe contests, but to couple all of that with supporting a great cause and helping to feed those without enough food right in our own back yards speaks volumes for the communities as a whole.”
Bike Nite attendees who visited the 48 ft. SuperTrapp display trailer and submitted a contest entry form, were eligible for a chance to win a gift certificate redeemable for a SuperTrapp or Kerker exhaust worth up to $1,000.
