SpeedMob, the exclusive distributor for STM clutches in the United States, has announced that the new STM dry clutch conversion kits are now available for five Ducati models: 848 Panigale, 1199 Panigale, 1200 Diavel, 1200 Multistrada and the 1200 Monster.
These kits allow use of either the EVO SBK clutch or the incredible EVO GP clutch that allows the slipper clutch to work as a standard clutch (allowing for bump start) through the use of a centrifugal lock design, and also as a slipper clutch above 1,100 RPM’s.
In the case of the Diavel, Multistrada and Monster 1200, a machined replacement crankcase is provided in the kit. For the 899 and 1199 Panigale, a re-machined factory crankcase is available (additional fee). The machining of this case still allows users to return to a wet clutch setup, should they want to convert back.
All STM clutches are machined and assembled in-house at the STM facility located in Chieri, Italy. Constructed from the highest grade raw materials – CNC machined to the tightest tolerances and hard coated to ensure product longevity. STM clutches have the ability to be adjusted (tuned) to riders’ needs through the use of different weight primary and secondary clutch springs.
STM offers a wide variety of parts and accessories, including primary/secondary weights, conversion kits, tools, billet parts, bar-ends, handlebar switches and larger capacity billet oil clutch and brake reservoirs.
