Sena Technologies, Inc., a leader in bluetooth innovation for the motorsports, action sports and outdoor sports lifestyles, invaded Overland Expo West 2015 in Flagstaff, Ariz. as an exhibitor and engaged participant at the event. Headlining the lineup at this year’s show was the world’s first combined motorcycle communication and audio action camera system, the 10C.
With a water resistant unibody design, the 10C system delivers clear, bluetooth 4.0 communication combined with 1080p high definition video. Users of the unit can experience and record intercom conversation and music directly from their connected phones to create unique memories while on a ride. The built-in camera technology also features a unique video tagging feature that allows users to press a single button and record 60 seconds in the past, the current 60 seconds and a future 60 seconds to ensure none of the action is missed.
And with the combination of the headset feature, users can record their voice to their video while enjoying intercom communication up to one mile with Universal Intercom technology. Additional standout features also include Advanced Noise Control, music sharing, easy operation with a versatile jog dial, external antenna and a smartphone app for iPhone and Android – amongst a plethora of cutting-edge technologies.
Along with the 10C, Sena introduced the 10U Motorcycle Bluetooth Communication System for Shoei, Arai and Schubreth helmets – as well as the all-new Bluetooth Handlebar Remote Control. Featuring Bluetooth 4.0 technology and an all-new unique design for complete installation into the helmet’s ear pockets – and behind the existing padding, allowing for easy and versatile use that is not visible from the outside of the helmet. Additional key features include music sharing, built-in FM radio tuner, up to 12 hours talk time, 10 days stand-by time and many of Sena’s other signature communication innovations.
