Initially the lever feels softer, and with less effort the connection between your fingertips and the front tire is greatly improved. These benefits were obtained by removing the flex associated with the stock casting and by increasing the piston size. More air also passes through for better cooling.

Use with a 270mm front brake rotor and a braided steel brake line for the ultimate braking package. Fits 2004 and up CRs/CRFs; 2006 and up KXFs; 2007 and up RMZs with stock master cylinders and 2002 and up YZ/YZFs by replacing the stock master with an 11mm master-cylinder.
