3BR Powersports Issues Cease and Desist Orders for Patent Violations

Non-genuine versions of 3BR’s TAPP and TAPPLite charging ports, which are patented under No. 8079560 and No. 7914306, respectively, are now being sold in the U.S. via the Internet and possibly other distribution channels. These unauthorized versions do not meet the fit and quality specifications developed by 3BR, and some dealers have been unknowingly recruited to carry these counterfeit versions.

RP Advanced Mobile Systems Launches New LTATV Strike and Mobility Vehicles

The first of three vehicles to be announced is the RP Advanced C2 Strike Mobility Commander. This vehicle fills the commander’s needs for a C2/C4 vehicle that is low cost, lightweight and can be deployed by fixed and rotary wing aircraft quickly and easily to the battlefield.
The two additional vehicles will be based on the Can-Am 101 HP Maverick 1000 in both two- and four-passenger configurations. All three vehicles will be unveiled in booth 450 at the upcoming NDIA SOFIC show in Tampa, Fla.

The 2013 X-TEAM “Big Bucks” Bounty program pays racers cash bonuses for a top placing in all IJSBA-sanctioned closed-course races in the United States and Canada, as well as the IJSBA National Tour and IJSBA World Championship. Bounty awards are also available for select offshore/endurance-style events, including the Mark Hahn Memorial 300 and Long Beach 2 Catalina races.

Powersports Industry Shows Sales Increase

Dealer Expo On The Move

In a move that many in the industry dubbed reactionary to the timing of the inaugural American International Motorcycle Expo (AIME) to be held in Orlando, Oct. 16-20, 2013, in September, Advanstar announced that the Dealer Expo would move the date of its Indianapolis-based show to October starting in 2013. But it looks as though plans have shifted again with September 2014 show dates hitting the Dealer Expo website in December.
