Shopatron, a leading provider of cloud-based, e-commerce order management solutions, fueled a 39 percent same-store online sales increase in January for its clients in the powersports industry.

The patent-pending Shopatron Order Exchange drives online sales for leading brands like Suzuki, Kawasaki, Ducati, Arctic Cat, and BRP. Shopatron enables client brands to sell online and then pass those completed orders to their retailers for delivery to the customer.

Shopatron clients are also able to offer advanced fulfillment capabilities, such as in-store pickup and ship-to-store, to drive additional online and offline sales. Research shows that while 80 percent of customers research products online, 75 percent still prefer to buy in a store.

“For manufacturers of products like motorcycles and personal watercraft, which typically require customization, installation, or other high-expertise services, Shopatron’s solution is a proven method for selling online,” said Shopatron SVP of Marketing Mark Grondin. “With Shopatron, branded manufacturers sell products directly on their website without sacrificing customer experience or alienating retailers.”

Shopatron will be attending the upcoming Dealer Expo, Feb. 15-17 in Indianapolis.
