The Mikuni HSR45 is a carburetor performance upgrade kit for a Harley-Davidson Big Twin and other American V-Twin engines using a modified exhaust, cam kit, performance ignition, performance heads and possibly a big bore kit.
The larger HSR45 Carburetor provides for significant more fuel mixture flow over Mikuni’s very popular HSR42 Carburetor which is suited for stock and slightly modified engine where it allows a 25% performance gain. Easy Kit applications include Harley-Davidson 1999 to present Twin Cam, and 1990 to ‘99 Big Twin Evolution models.
Included in the Mikuni HSR45-5 Easy Kit is a 45mm HSR Carburetor, Stock Airbox Adapter, and instructions. The Kit can be used with the following H-D Screamin’ Eagle higher flowing manifold kits: HDSE part numbers: 29634-00 (HTCC), or 29635-99 (TC), 29636-99 (Evo).
