Giesler Engineering has supplied its model Stand SS-1000 for over 10 years. The SS-1000 is a completely stainless steel unit which is certified for lifting over 1,925 pounds.

 

Giesler’s new model Stand ALS-1000 is identical in design as its SS-1000 but has a material difference from it by using aircraft heavy wall aluminum and staying with stainless steel at material intersections where the maximum tensile strength is required to lift motorcycles safely. Giesler also reduced the Stand ALS-1000’s weight from SS-1000’s 10 pounds to 6.5 pounds.

 

With the cost of stainless steel today this use of aluminum and stainless steel on the ALS-1000 reduces the cost while supplying a fully certified tool that will safely and easily lift any produced motorcycle. Giesler insures that the ALS-1000 will be safe to use on any motorcycle up to 2,200 pounds.
