DEI Products Get Rid of Motorcycle Heat

Help reduce heat, protect yourself, and make your ride cooler and more comfortable with DEI Powersports products.

Any motorcycle rider knows that exhaust can get hot and dangerous! Especially to riders with shorter legs, when stopped in traffic, or when getting off your bike. Help reduce that heat, protect yourself, and make your ride cooler and more comfortable with one or more of these great options…

Heat Shield Liner Kits
These easy to install heat shield liner kits are designed to line the back of factory shields and reduce 50% of the heat radiating through. The kits are installed without any adhesive or modifications and are offered for Harley, Indian and Triumph stock and aftermarket headpipes. Universal Cut-to-Fit kits available.

Titanium Exhaust Wrap
DEI’s titanium exhaust wrap is slightly more involved installation. In many cases, this can be done with the exhaust on the bike. Heat shields can be installed over the wrap to maintain the look of the motorcycle. The exhaust wrap blocks 50% of heat radiating through the pipes and offers 360-degree coverage for increased heat reduction.

Titanium Exhaust Sleeve
Installing DEI’s titanium exhaust sleeve requires the removal of the head pipes and flanges. Heat shields can be installed over the sleeve to maintain the look of the motorcycle, and it blocks 50% of heat radiating through the pipes and offers 360-degree coverage for increased heat reduction.

How Motorcycle Gloves Enhance Grip and Control

A firmer grip creates an easier and more confident riding experience.

motorcycle gloves, grip, handlebars

When talking about motorcycle gloves, we often focus on the safety aspect — armored knuckles or protection against the elements. But one of the most vital functions for gloves is to enhance grip and control while riding a motorcycle.

A glove’s grip directly impacts the rider's ability to maintain control over the bike, especially during acceleration, braking and cornering maneuvers. Without adequate grip, a rider's safety is compromised. Consider the dog days of a summer when the sun is beating down on you while riding. Not only are ungloved hands prime targets for sunburn but they can also get sweaty and slippery in that heat, making it that much tougher to get a good grip on the throttle.
