EPM Performance Named Exclusive U.S. Distributor of Hyperpro

EPM Performance Imports has announced that it has earned exclusive distribution rights of Hyperpro suspension products and steering dampers in the U.S.

EPM Performance Imports has announced that it has earned exclusive distribution rights of Hyperpro suspension products and steering dampers in the U.S.

Based in the Netherlands, Hyperpro entered the suspension market in 1992 and its products have been available in the U.S. for 17 years. The company specializes in progressive fork springs, shocks and steering dampers for 1,500 motorcycle models. Nearly 30,000 spring and damping combinations are available from the company. In addition to designing and bench testing at its 20,000 square-foot facility, Hyperpro manufactures the majority of its suspension components in house.

New Jersey-based EPM Performance Imports has enjoyed a long, prosperous relationship with Hyperpro  since 1997, and it is also the exclusive distributor of YSS suspension components. Its comprehensive suspension shop refreshes, revalves and rebuilds OEM and aftermarket shocks, performs on-site suspension service and set-up, and builds one-off shocks for custom bikes.

As part of their new distribution agreement, EPM will manufacture Hyperpro shocks at its central New Jersey facility with extensive technical guidance from the Dutch company to replicate its production standards.

“Working with EPM, we experienced a tremendous increase in turnover,” said Jan Belder, Hyperpro international sales manager. “We are convinced that this new relationship will build deeper market penetration and strengthen the brand. As one of our strongest international partners, EPM will continue providing unmatched expertise with Hyperpro products and great service in the U.S.”

Klaus Huenecke, president of EPM Performance Imports, is excited about this partnership: “I’m very proud of the progress we’ve made with Hyperpro. This new arrangement will allow us to stock the entire Hyperpro product line and provide quick fulfillment and shock-service turnaround for dealers.”
