CAKE, the Swedish manufacturer of lightweight electric motorcycles, announced that in lieu of the cancellation of the 2020 EICMA motor show in Milan, Italy, the CAKE team will instead host a virtual event to showcase 2021 novelties and model updates and share news around expanding CAKE’s international presence in racing. This virtual event is open to the public and will be broadcast from the CAKE headquarters in Stockholm, Sweden on Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020, at 10 a.m. EST / 4 p.m. CET.
“It’s show season, but with every major show cancelled, we’ve had to forge our own route. We’re starting with “CAKEMA” and then following up with additional virtual shows at the time when physical CES and Outdoor Retailer would have happened with different announcements and launches for each and every show,” commented CAKE founder and CEO, Stefan Ytterborn. “The main focus of CAKEMA will be about racing and how CAKE is developing its race-forward ecosystem, with associated and new products, racing formats, track concepts, partnerships and a global race series that features a compact racing format in the middle of cities. We invite everyone to tune in to learn more!”
Viewers interested in the day’s virtual event can visit ridecake.com/2021 to watch the steam and recordings of the sessions and to learn more about what CAKE has in store for 2021. CAKEMA gets underway with a keynote presentation from CAKE founder and CEO, Stefan Ytterborn and will feature many of the team members at CAKE who are actively designing the next generation of CAKE’s lightweight electric motorcycles.
