Tucker Films: Flat Track Futures Dunlop Florida Fall Classic

Tucker Powersports recaps the inaugural Flat Track Futures Dunlop Florida Fall Classic that took place over the weekend of Oct. 19, at Volusia Speedway Park in Florida.

The inaugural Flat Track Futures Dunlop Florida Fall Classic took place over the weekend of Oct. 19, at Volusia Speedway Park and featured 12 AMA-sanctioned classes running on one of the fastest half miles in the country, coinciding with Daytona Biketoberfest.

What is Flat Track Futures? The goal is simple: to produce the future generation of top American Flat Track riders using the tools necessary to develop their careers on and off the bike. In doing so, the plan is to provide the highest quality support to its riders, work hard to provide the best race tracks and best media coverage, and build a strong community and family atmosphere that welcomes new riders, families and fans.

“When I decided to develop Flat Track Futures, I had a vision in mind,” explains Flat Track Futures founder, Johnny Lewis. “One part of the vision was to make the motorcycle industry more aware of amateur flat track, develop content to show off our community, the talented riders of all ages, the dedication by the families, and to allow us to grow the sport we are a part of.”

The event included support from Tucker Powersports with nine of its exclusive brands through a unique “House of Brands Village,” where spectators, riders and families had the opportunity able to peruse 2020 products, listen to music and enjoy a cold beverage of choice during race day. The House of Brands Village showcased Tucker-exclusive brands ProTaper, Answer Racing, FirstGear, Speed and Strength, DragonFire, QuadBoss, BikeMaster, Twin Power and Biker’s Choice.

Although weather played a big factor, the event was still well-received by those in attendance. “Mother Nature may have won this time, but we are even more excited for the next one,” said Lewis. “We thank everyone from our amazing sponsors and staff that made this event even possible to come together, and to our amazing riders and families that made the journey to  Biketoberfest. Everyone now knows that there is racing to be held during October Bike Week, and we look forward to 2020.”
