This is not just another waxed cotton jacket. Scorpion has taken the classic waxed cotton jacket and made it better.

Featuring a strengthened outer material that combines abrasion resistant nylon into the weave of the fabric, the Birmingham has a laminated waterproof/breathable fabric on the back of it, and is seam taped with Exo-Stitch at every seam.

Scorpion also applied a fine waxed coating for the vintage look and to prevent the fabric from absorbing water. Now you have a 100% waterproof garment that has classic looks and 21st century technology. The collar and inner lapel is leather lined, as well as the two large internal pockets. A cotton plaid lining adds to the vintage look.

Because this is a motorcycle jacket, Scorpion included Sas-Tec armor at the elbows and shoulders. There is also a pocket for an optional back protector.
