ARGO XTV has announced it has named powersports industry veteran Doug Braswell, as vice president of engineering, effective immediately. The vice president of engineering role is a new dedicated position created to spearhead the innovation and development of the next generation of ARGOs.
In his new role, Braswell assumes responsibility for ensuring the company is able to deliver on ARGO President Brad Darling’s growth plan and will spearhead the strategic direction of the company’s engineering department, in addition to overseeing a team of engineers.
Braswell brings with him more than 25 years of years of engineering, design, manufacturing and product development experience. He joins ARGO from Briggs and Stratton Corporation, where he served as director of innovation and alternative power. Braswell also has many years of experience from his time at Arctic Cat, where he served as director of engineering & product development and from John Deere where he was the global manufacturing engineering manager.
