Bonnier Motorcycle Group has announced a newly redesigned Motorcyclist magazine with the launch of the publication’s March/April issue, scheduled to hit newsstands February 28. In order to support its readers, Motorcyclist will move to a thicker paper stock and enlarged size. In addition, Motorcyclist will have increased pages and will be offered in six issues per year, allowing for the magazine to focus on expanded feature stories with engaging photographic spreads.

Motorcyclist is the oldest continually-published motorcycle magazine in the world, with its first issue going to print in 1912. As the magazine enters a new era, Zack Courts and Ari Henning will share Executive Editor responsibilities in leading the brand.

“We didn’t take this redesign lightly,” Courts said. “We know the readers have come to count on this magazine for the true enthusiasts’ view of motorcycling.”

The first edition of the relaunched magazine will include articles on subjects as varied as the story of the grandfather of the popular Adventure-bike category, the 1981 BMW R80 G/S, as well as an in-depth profile of the man behind the strident designs of KTM.
