Bates Footwear has officially launched its 2017 Powersports Line at AIMExpo. Drawing on its heritage making boots for the U.S. Armed Forces, Bates Footwear developed the Powersports Line to offer motorcyclists a new choice in footwear that delivers performance, protection and all-day comfort both on and off the bike. These trademark characteristics were carried over into the development of the 2017 Powersports Line, which includes two all-new models that are 100% sourced and manufactured in the United States, as well as an all-new cold weather boot and new colorways for select models.
New to the Powersports Line are the American-made Freedom and Bomber. The 6-inch Freedom and the 9-inch Bomber feature leather and nylon uppers with a rugged Vibram outsole, Poron XRD impact foam and toe shift reinforcement. The combination of high quality materials and moto-centric design have resulted in sturdy yet comfortable riding boots that are as stylish as they are functional.

For Colder Climates – Crossover
Bates Footwear also introduced the Crossover, a rugged powersports boot with 200 grams of insulation and a waterproof membrane. The Crossover is equally suitable for owners of motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, snowmobiles and farm equipment that live in cold and wet climates.

Current Product Line Expands
Along with the new models, Bates Footwear is refreshing the Adrenaline and Taser lines with new finishes for 2017. The Adrenaline will be offered in graphite and brown performance leather to join the original black leather. The original grey and black Tasers will be joined by dark grey and brown waterproof suede. In addition to the new models and colorways listed above, Bates will continue to offer the Beltline and Marauder models in select colors.
