Environmental protection starts with a double overstitched, water and UV-resistant RockTex 600 outer chassis. For serious downpours, tucked in behind the two-way main zipper and double cross-over storm flaps, the Adventure also includes a removable waterproof liner that is backed by an additional insulated full sleeve liner to take you well into colder climates. For when temps get hot, remove the liners and let the integrated Variable Flow ventilation system featuring two massive intakes at the chest and two more tucked behind the two-way zippers at the sleeves, the combination of which flows heat and humidity through the jacket and out the dual, 8” rear exhaust vents. And for truly extreme heat, the lower sleeves are fully removable, flowing air up and into the entire top of the jacket.
Complimenting this exceptional environmental protection is multi-layered impact protection that starts with an additional layer of resistant 840D Ballistic Nylon reinforcements at the shoulders and elbows. Underlying this is CE-certified armor at the shoulders and elbows with a removable high density spine pad that can be upgraded to a CE-certified spine pad insert or Speedmaster 2.0 CE-Level 2 back protector.
Keeping all this environmental and impact protection in place is an 8-point Surefit custom adjustment system with adjusters at the; biceps, forearms, wrists, and waist while integrated FlexFit expansion panels above the elbows drastically decrease arm strain.
Providing the final touches of ride-friendly versatility are fine details like; an extended micro fiber lined collar, three outer pockets including a large lower rear cargo pocket, four internal pockets, extended back with zipper gussets for improved mobility, integrated hydration system pocket and port, 8” zipper for jacket to pant attachment, and a full 360° of reflective striping.
