The new Lighted Velocity Ring is for all Kuryakyn Hypercharger, Mach 2 and Mach 2 Co-Ax, as well as Crusher Maverick and Bahn air cleaners. This direct replacement for the included velocity ring in the Kuryakyn, Crusher and Bahn intake kits mounts discreetly in the backing plate for a powerful seven-color combination of ultra-bright L.E.D.’s from beneath the filter element. Display modes include solid color, single-color flash with adjustable variable rate, or cycle through all seven tones in auto color.
The Lighted Velocity Ring is compatible with existing Kuryakyn Lizard Lights and Lizard Lights Controllers to illuminate the air cleaner with the same sharp color saturation and display modes for a coordinating L.E.D. effect. Installation on vehicles without Lizard Lights requires the separate purchase of a plug-&-play standard controller (P/N 4715), or the new Bluetooth controller (P/N 5067) that allows users to select the color, display mode and adjust the variable rate from any Bluetooth-enabled device with Android or iOS operating systems using the free Kuryakyn app.
Installation requires drilling a hole to route the wires through the back mounting plate originally included with the compatible air cleaner kits. The built-in grommet attached to the wire lead ensures an airtight seal for zero loss of air pressure or performance.
