A new product has launched that makes transporting water and other liquids for adventure motorcyclists more practical. This product allows adventure motorcyclists to carry a necessity such as water on their motorcycle through areas where it may not be readily available.

Jug Smuggler was developed by David Ollila of Marquette, Michigan. It’s one of several products that has gone through the full five-step process, from idea to market, at Invent@NMU. Invent@NMU specializes in helping people bring their concepts to market. Ollila has previous experience inventing and selling products, including the Marquette Backcountry Ski.

The Jug Smuggler has over 5,000 miles of testing over the summer of 2015 on mixed terrain. Ollila is seeking adventure riders to not only purchase the product and test its effectiveness themselves, but to feel free to provide feedback for future models.

“Jug Smuggler may not be flashy, but it’s a high quality and effective product,” Ollila said. “It solves a simple problem for adventure riders—purchase a gallon jug of water and easily transport it from your last stop of the day to camp for the night.”

The product is now available on its website, jugsmuggler.com. It enables a motorcyclist to carry a gallon size jug of water. A single Jug Smuggler runs for $49.95 and a bundle of two is discounted at $89.90. Other features of the product include a collapsible design for when it is not in use, a bottle opener and a hole in the bottom to hold the jug upside down and use for running water.

Jug Smuggler is a Michigan made product designed for adventure motorcyclists to easily transport water through unpredictable terrain.
