Rockford Fosgate has announced nine new 2015 Punch Series amplifiers for marine and off-road sound systems. Based on Rockford’s award-winning Punch Series amplifier technologies, the nine new Punch Class AB and Class BD models in the element-ready series now bring Rockford’s sonic-signature to the outdoors in a chassis designed to withstand the elements.
The new Punch Series moto-marine amplifier line specs and technical highlights include:
- Element-ready two-part epoxy coating on circuit boards
- Element-ready stainless steel hardware
- Class AB: PM300X2; PM400X2; PM500X2; PM400X4; PM600X4; PM300X1
- Class BD: PM500X1BD; PM1000X1BD

- Balanced differential inputs
- RCA pass through outputs (on select models)
- Remote level PUNCH control (optional on select models)
- Selectable fully adjustable 12 dB/ Butterworth crossovers
- Die cast aluminum heatsink
- DTM – Dynamic Thermal Management
- Short circuit & over current protection
- Discrete surface mount technology
- CEA-2006 compliant
In addition, Rockford Fosgate is also debuting new “Element-Ready” packaging for its “Moto-Marine” lines. Graphics and text will highlight each product’s element-ready specifications within these lines, making them easily recognizable so the dealer and consumer can perfectly match the product to their installation and environmental requirements.
