Corbin designed its new Sport Bucket Seats for the Polaris Slingshot on platforms that work on the existing Polaris seat frame and slider. Instead of building up complete racing style seats with shoulder bolsters, Corbin opted more for a Sport Bucket style with thigh and side bolsters, but keeps your shoulders free. Not only does this look more appropriate inside the Slingshot, but it maximizes cabin space and doesn’t make you feel cramped.
Corbin’s seat design provides seat and back panels that cradle your body ergonomically. This gives you long range support that eliminates hot spots. Corbin also made the thigh bolsters with a softer angle so it adds more seating area for more square inches of body contact. This helps hold your body in place yet not confined while giving additional comfort value.
Corbin designed their new Sport Bucket seats to accommodate a rider wearing a helmet without have your head tilt forward. They provide just enough extra room to allow for the helmet, but still provide the needed support and whiplash protection. This equates to approximately 1.5 inches if you’re wondering.
On top Corbin uses genuine leather seating with a wide range of color and texture options. Leather will breathe with your body and break in along with Corbin’s exclusive Comfort Cell foam for a personalized fit. Corbin’s Slingshot seats include a new specialty Slingshot Corbin logo embroidered into the headrest area.
Corbin’s Sport Bucket seats also have the option of electric heaters built in. These seats feature a heating unit in both the seat base AND the seat back. You’ll be amazed at how well this works to make your whole body feel warmer on those chilly morning rides. Our heater units are full self -contained within the seat and come pre-installed. Corbin includes a wiring pigtail that integrates with your Slingshot’s harness and runs up to the dash to plug into its included heater switches. Installation requires only standard hand tools and a little patience.
Corbin also includes a fabric sunshade with every seat. The stretchy material pulls over the seat to give some shade while you’re out and about. When you get back, just pull the cover off and stow it away in the handy storage pouch built into the back of the headrests.
