Marshall Distributing hosted a sales meeting at the Bavarian Inn located in Frankenmuth, Mich., for the entire sales team July 16-19. The event was attended by more than 40 vendors representing the motorcycle, ATV/UTV, snow and PWC markets. The format allowed each vendor to take the time to educate Marshall representatives on the existing product lines and introduce new products for the next season.
“We sincerely thank every vendor that participated,” said Roger Marshall, CEO and founder of Marshall. “The education our vendors give the sales team certainly shows in the growth rates of participating vendors over the years."
“This format is beneficial for our team as they become better subject matter experts in these lines, and they can better help the dealerships make more sales on the showroom floors," said Chuck Herman, Marshall’s national sales manager.
The meeting also included social events that mixed the participating vendors and Marshall sales team together, such as meals, golf and breakout sessions. These events not only strengthened business relationships, but also helped generate new ideas.
