Symtec, Inc., manufacturers of Heat Demon heated accessories for motorcycles and ATVs, has moved to a new location in Fridley, Minn.

After nearly 20 years at its University Avenue location, Sytmtec President Riley Harlan, chose to move the growing company to a facility at 124 Osborne Road NE. With 12,500 square feet, the building will accommodate new equipment, process improvements and additional capabilities. The space was built out to allow for future growth in areas of product development, sales and marketing, and engineering.

“Symtec is already an industry leader from an innovation perspective. This move will allow us to bring in new vehicles to prototype new products more quickly, which means our customers will see new, innovative, high-quality products sooner than they have in the past,” said Harlan.

Symtec began developing heated products for the powersports industry with a thumb warmer in 1989. Soon, the company was manufacturing a complete line of heated accessories for ATVs and motorcycles, which are distributed under the Heat Demon brand.
