To better service dealers in the south, National Powersport Auctions (NPA) is adding a second live auction date to its monthly Atlanta schedule. The leader in powersport vehicle remarketing services, NPA has expanded to nine facilities and is now doubling up on auction dates in Dallas and Atlanta.
Already one of the largest auctions in the NPA family, Atlanta has additional room to grow. “I know we’re headed into winter but things have definitely been heating up in Atlanta,” said NPA Chief Operating Officer Jim Woodruff. “Along with an increase in inventory, we are also seeing increased demand from both our buyers and sellers wanting to turn their inventory quicker.” NPA Dallas was the first location to add a second monthly live auction date and now it is Atlanta’s turn.
“The inaugural second Atlanta auction will be held Wednesday, October 30th at 8am ET, with two lanes running. It will offer the same inventory mix and dealer resources – like online bidding and transportation assistance – as our existing Atlanta auction,” Woodruff said. Preview for the second Atlanta auction will be available the day before on Tuesday, Oct. 29, from 8 a.m.-5 p.m. ET.
In the future, the second Atlanta auction will normally be the second Wednesday after the existing Atlanta auction the third Friday every month. This will give buyers and sellers the opportunity to acquire or liquidate inventory twice as often on alternating weeks throughout the year.
“When it comes to pre-owned powersports, October, November and December are the ideal months to start stocking up for the Spring selling season,” Woodruff said. “The spring market is the strongest time of the year and our most seasoned dealers take advantage of the winter pricing.”
