The Tour Jacket & Pants Adventure-GTX is a professional touring suit for the whole year. Wind-proof, waterproof and breathable – the all-rounder can stand up to any weather. Only the best materials are used to provide protection against the weather. The 2-in-1 technology with the detachable and separately wearable GORE-TEX® membrane jacket ensures perfect, long-lasting protection against a wide range of weather conditions. Another useful feature is the integrated storm hood with a waterproof collar so that your neck remains dry even when there’s a downpour.
A highly breathable 3D-mesh fabric ensures that moisture is transported quickly to the outside in the inside back area. The breathable net lining with a water barrier makes a major contribution to a pleasant body temperature. If temperatures rise, the sophisticated ventilation system with four ventilation openings on the chest and in the back area as well as two additional openings in the trousers will cool you through efficient air circulation.
The IXS development team has developed a flexible waist size for the trousers so that you can achieve a perfect fit – the waist size can be adjusted by up to 12 cm tighter or looser. Two adjustable areas on the left and right are incorporated in the waist size. At the same time the trousers can be fully connected to the jacket: A sturdy zip holds the jacket and trousers together in the back area.
In the front, the innovative, patented IXS Magnetic Connection System (iMC) attaches the jacket to the trousers almost automatically. Magnetic Fidlock rapid fasteners are used for this. The belt strap inside the jacket is practical. A firmly incorporated belt strap similar to braces runs over the shoulders and gives the trousers a secure hold via the Fidlock connection. The result is a secure, comfortable feel owing to the many additional adjustment options, regardless of how long the tour lasts!
Safety is the highest priority for the Tour Jacket and Pants Adventure-GTX. There is no detail that has not been designed and tested for its traffic safety. The jacket and trousers are reinforced with double stitching at the impact areas and fitted with the latest generation of CE protectors, including a CE back protector (Level 2). This means that the textile combination is able to cope with all the adverse effects of everyday motorbike riding, even the hardest contact with tarmac or road surfaces, without restricting the rider’s movements. In this way IXS adventurers can enjoy a carefree riding experience.
