EnerSys celebrates its 125-year anniversary in the industrial battery business in North America on August 7 The company, founded in 1888, manufactures industrial batteries in more than 100 countries around the world.

“I thank the 9,000 employees worldwide who make EnerSys the global leader in our industry and I acknowledge and commend the efforts of the many thousands more who built this company over the past 125 years,” concluded Craig.
Since 2000, EnerSys has acquired 24 companies. One of the Company’s recent acquisitions, ABSL Power Solutions, Inc., provided the ABSL high energy density Lithium-Ion (Li-Ion) battery assemblies that are used in the International Space Station for spacewalks.
