Thanks to an agreement between the Dainese Group and PSI, which manufactures made-to-measure technical clothing for motorcyclists, Czech racer Ondra Jezek will race in the World Supersport Championship while protected by Dainese D-air technology. Beginning with the race in Aragon, Spain, which takes place April 1-3, Jezek will wear D-air Armor, an “open platform” racing-suit undergarment that features an integrated D-air airbag; the entire protection system—electronics, GPS, battery and gas generator—is housed in the undergarment’s back protector.

First presented last May at the Mugello MotoGP round, D-air Armor represents a genuine milestone in the diffusion of the Dainese D-air system, and now even riders sponsored by protective apparel brands other than Dainese can benefit from the protection of D-air advanced technology, which is the result of 15 years of research, development and experience.

The collaboration between Dainese and PSI is especially important, as this is the first time that D-air Armor will be worn by a rider in the World Superbike series (World Supersport is a support class in World SBK).
