Rekluse, a manufacturer of cutting-edge clutch systems for motorcycles, announced its continued support as a technical partner for the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing team for the 2024 SuperMotocross season. This marks the ninth consecutive year that Rekluse has joined forces with the renowned team, solidifying its commitment to excellence in the world of professional supercross and motocross.

The 2024 SuperMotocross season kicked off on Jan. 6 with the first round of the supercross season in Anaheim. As the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing team gears up for another thrilling campaign, it boasts an impressive lineup of riders in both the 250 and 450 classes.

In the 450 Class, the team is fueled by the talents of two-time 450SX Champion and four-time Pro Motocross 450MX Champion Eli Tomac, along with the dynamic duo of two-time 450SX Champion Cooper Webb and the 2021 250SX West Champion Justin Cooper. This formidable trio is sure to pose a threat to the competition for podium positions throughout the season.

The 250 Class features the reigning 250SMX Champion Haiden Deegan, who will be joined by a stellar lineup including Jordon Smith, Nate Thrasher, Stilez Robertson, Nick Romano, Daxton Bennick and the newest addition to the team: Enzo Lopes. “Yamaha is happy to continue our partnership with Rekluse,” commented Jim Roach, Yamaha Racing department manager. “We have had a lot of success together and plan to continue to have more success in the future.”

As a crucial part of the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing team’s success formula, both the 250 and 450 riders will once again harness the power of Rekluse’s TorqDrive and Core technology in their 2024 YZ250F and 2024 YZ450F machines. Combined to make the industry-leading CoreManual TorqDrive, this clutch system maximizes durability and puts the power to the ground to drive riders forward in their pursuit of championship titles.

“We are thrilled to continue our longstanding partnership with the Monster Energy Yamaha Star Racing team,” said Alison Kelsey, general manager at Rekluse. “As we enter our ninth consecutive year supporting the team, we look forward to contributing to their success and working with the team’s professionals to continue evolving Rekluse clutch technology for riders everywhere.”
