Triumph Motorcycles has announced three new models for the US market – the Bonneville T214 Land Speed Limited Edition, the Bonneville Newchurch Special Edition and the Street Triple RX.

Bonneville T214 Land Speed Limited Edition

The Limited Edition Bonneville T214 celebrates the achievements of Texas-born racer Johnny Allen, and his record-breaking Triumph-powered Cee-Gar streamliner, which in 1956, set the first of many land speed records at the Bonneville Salt Flats by recording a two-way average of 214.4mph.

The “Texas Cee-Gar,” a Triumph Thunderbird 650 powered, methanol-fueled motorcycle with a streamlined bodyshell was built by airline pilot J.H. “Stormy” Mangham, and Fort Worth dealer, tuner and 2001 Motorcycle Hall of Fame inductee, Jack Wilson.

The new Bonneville T214 Limited Edition, based on the T100 Black, pays homage to the remarkable land speed record achievement. The hand painted Caspian Blue and Pure White color scheme complete with red and white checker detailing echoes that of the 1956 Texas Cee-Gar. The blue front mudguard shares the same white star motif from the nosecone of the iconic streamliner. The shortened rear mudguard combined with blacked out wheel rims, handlebars and rear suspension springs add to the authentic look which is complimented with red seat stitching detail and a smaller front headlight.

Limited to a total of 1000 bikes worldwide, each individually numbered, the T214, is priced from $9,999. It will be in Triumph dealerships beginning November 2014.

Bonneville Newchurch Special Edition

Bonneville Newchurch Special Edition

Every year a small town in the mountains of Austria plays host to the world’s biggest Triumph party as thousands of Triumph fans descend to celebrate their love of the brand and the bikes they own. Located in the town of Neukirchen, it changes its name to Newchurch for the weeklong Tridays party. To celebrate this passion and energy, Triumph has produced the new Bonneville Newchurch Special Edition. This new model features fresh new contemporary paint schemes, a new low profile seat and with cool black detailing throughout.

The gas tanks are sumptuously hand painted with a new design that highlights the iconic lines and proudly sporting the new Triumph logo. Available in a choice of Cranberry Red / Pure White or Sapphire Blue / Pure White, featuring hand painted black detailing. To further carry the customized scheme, the Bonneville Newchurch wears blacked-out fenders, headlamp bowl, handlebars, mirrors and springs which combine to deliver a customized contemporary look. Finishing off the transformation are all black seven spoke cast wheels featuring a hand painted pinstriped coachline. This net result is a Bonneville with a more striking appeal and a perfect starting base for owners to continue their own customization desires.

The beating heart of the Bonneville Newchurch is its iconic 865cc parallel twin engine. A handsome block of air-cooled metal, the motor shares all the striking visual cool of the original Bonneville, right down to its look-alike carburettors, classic exhaust routing and engine cases. The parallel twin engine produces 68PS peak power and 68Nm of torque spread across a wide, useable rev range for comfortable performance flexibility in any gear. And the latest technical sophistication of fuel injection and electronic engine management ensures perfectly predictable throttle control, generating a lively engine response tailored to meet today’s riding demands.

Like all Bonneville based models, the Newchurch offers a low seat height, comfortable riding ergonomics, and engaging handling. The Bonneville Newchurch will be available in Triumph dealerships in April 2015 and will be priced starting at $8,699.

Street Triple RX

Street Triple RX

The Street Triple RX combines aggressive style and devilish good looks to create an extreme, eye-catching machine, borrowing inspiration from its TT and Daytona 200 winning supersport sibling, the Daytona 675R.

The Street Triple RX’s unique visual features include a new razor-sharp rear profile, a new aluminum silver paint scheme and revised graphics. The angular seat unit is transplanted from the Daytona, further emphasizing the Street Triple’s already aggressive stance. The crisp lines are accented by the new matte silver paint and deep diablo red details, complimented by the striking hand painted finish on the front and rear lightweight race inspired wheels. Triumph’s seat cowl, belly pan and fly screen complete the aesthetics to round off the purposeful intent of the RX.

At the heart of the Street Triple RX is Triumph’s signature triple engine. The 675cc, 12-valve unit is derived from the legendary Triumph Daytona 675 sportsbike, but is carefully retuned to deliver a punchy 106PS and magnificently linear 68Nm of torque for effortless drive and acceleration. Combined with a slick, close-ratio six-speed gearbox, Triumph’s quickshifter and flawless throttle control, the powerplant delivers an exhilarating ride. All accompanied by a soulful, characteristic growling exhaust note, one of the most distinctive and charismatic sounds in motorcycling.

The Street Triple RX fuses the style and attitude of a naked street bike with the handling and performance of a sport bike, with beautiful styling to complete the package. The new Street Triple Rx will be available in dealerships February 2015 and will be priced at $11,199.

All Triumphs come with an unlimited mileage, two year factory warranty. Service intervals are every 6,000 miles, or one year, whichever comes first.
