The Shoei VFX-W Off-Road Helmet features an advanced integrated matrix-plus shell that combines high-performance fibers with organic fibers to create a shell structure that is lightweight, rigid and resilient. Four shell and five liner sizes present increased fit options that help to comfortably fit most head sizes.

 

The helmet’s aerodynamic properties are maximized through extensive wind-tunnel and rider testing. Its flow-through ventilation system has front intake vents that combine with rear vents and a neck outlet vent to maximize ventilation. Cool air passes through front intake vents, cools helmet interior and is exhausted through rear vents by force of negative air pressure.

 

The 3D Max-Dry removable liner system absorbs and discharges moisture two times faster than traditional nylon. It is thermo-molded to match the liner perfectly to the helmet’s interior. The helmet also has a E.Q.R.S. (Emergency Quick-Release System) which features a special tab under the cheek pads that allows them to be easily removed so the helmet can be quickly taken off by emergency personnel.

 

The V-430 Sleek Visor and Sleek Mouthpiece are aggressively shaped to provide incredible airflow for reduced drag. The visor is easily installed or removed with use of three external screws for ease of access to center screw and tightening by hand. A no-clog sleek mouthpiece provides enhanced flow-through ventilation. The mouthpiece filter is removable, washable and replaceable.
