2014 AIMExpo Surpasses 400 Exhibitor Mark with SHOEI Helmets

The American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) has reached a significant milestone by eclipsing the 400th exhibitor mark for the first time in only the show's second year. AIMExpo exceeded the landmark number with the addition of SHOEI Helmets, a global leader in helmet manufacturing.

The American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) has reached a significant milestone by eclipsing the 400th exhibitor mark for the first time in only the show’s second year. AIMExpo exceeded the landmark number with the addition of SHOEI Helmets, a global leader in helmet manufacturing, and continues its impressive drive towards the 2014 event, October 16-19 at Orlando, Florida’s, Orange County Convention Center (OCCC).

The addition of SHOEI serves as the most recent example demonstrating the ever-increasing levels at which the powersports industry has embraced the innovative AIMExpo business model.  Combining powersports trade, media and consumer segments is unparalleled and ultimately played a key role in SHOEI’s decision to commit to AIMExpo in 2014.

“SHOEI is pleased to announce that we will participate at AIMExpo this year. We were very impressed with its success and positive response from the industry, and strongly believe this show will become more and more successful in the coming years,” said SHOEI Safety Helmet Corp. President Hiro Mizushima. “Its ability to reach every aspect of the marketplace is a great opportunity for SHOEI to showcase our products. We are very excited to display our newest product line-up at our booth.”

SHOEI began making general safety helmets in Japan in 1959 and entered the motorcycle industry in 1960, expanding into North America in 1968. SHOEI has always been at the forefront of new helmet safety features and technology, including ventilation and the use of carbon fiber.

With more than 400 exhibitors, dealer attendees, trade members, media and consumers will have more to see and experience at the 2014 AIMExpo. The expanded exhibitor floor inside the OCCC will showcase hundreds of the most prominent powersports brands while AIMExpo Outdoors! will provide on- and off-road demos, learn-to-ride courses and special events aimed at entertaining attendees.

“Reaching the 400 exhibitor mark is a remarkable sign of the postive growth AIMExpo is experiencing,” said Larry Little, Vice President & General Manager, Motorcycle Group. “We are excited to welcome such a globally respected company like SHOEI as one of our newest exhibitors. Their involvement is a testament to the belief the industry has placed in AIMExpo as well as an encouraging sign of the upward business trend in the marketplace.”

Exhibit space allocation is ongoing as AIMExpo continues to cement its place within the powersports marketplace. Exhibitor numbers and interest continues to grow each day and companies looking to take advantage of the AIMExpo platform should contact an AIMExpo Account Manager toll free at 855-MCShows (855-627-4697).
