Askenazi Named Zero Motorcycles’ New Chief Technology Officer

Abe Askenazi has been named chief technology officer (CTO) of Zero Motorcycles, it was announced recently. After joining Zero in February 2010 as the vice president of engineering, Askenazi led his team in the development of Zero’s 2011 product line. A major overhaul from the previous year, over eighty percent of each existing model was re-engineered or otherwise improved, and three new models were added.

CPSC Terminates ATV Action Plan for SunL Group Youth ATVs

The U.S. Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC) recently announced the termination of the All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) Action Plan for SunL Group, Inc., of Irving, Texas. As of March 30, 2011, importers and distributors cannot import or distribute any ATV subject to the SunL Group ATV Action Plan. The company was an importer and distributor of gas and electric scooters, dirt bikes, ATVs and go-karts.
