Kendon Industries, LLC is celebrating 25 years of building innovative powersports trailers and motorcycle lifts designed to fold up and stand up to reduce storage space by over 75 percent.
This year marks the 25th year in business for the powersports trailer company that started with a dirt bike guy, an engineer, and a small Southern California apartment with a one-car garage.
The first Kendon Stand-Up trailer was built in 1991 when engineer Ken Thurm was contacted by motorcycle enthusiast and small apartment dweller, Don Leib. Don needed a trailer but had no garage space to store it. Ken developed the folding, stand-up design and the company was born. 25 years later both Ken and Don have moved on to other pursuits, but their legacy of creativity, innovation, and a passion for powersports lives on in the company they founded.
Kendon has big plans for its quarter-century celebration. The company plans to release two new stand-up trailer models, revise and improve current designs, and launch an all-new product they say will make a big impact in your garage.
“Our first order of business is to pick a 25th anniversary logo. And we’re going to let our friends and customers choose for us. In February we’re launching an online contest to choose our 25th anniversary logo design, complete with some fantastic prizes and incentives. It should be a great way for Kendon trailer and lift fans to celebrate with us,” said Steven Adams, Kendon’s Brand Manager.
More details on the logo contest and all of Kendon’s activities can be found on the web site at www.kendonusa.com/contest.
