Celebrate 100 years of manufacturing in 2011, Avon Motorcycle Tyres North America recently unveiled a custom-built anniversary motorcycle at last month’s Dealer Expo. The project showcases an extensive list of sponsors and custom paint by renowned airbrush artist Carlos Avelar.
Starting with a base 2011 Yamaha YZF R1, Avon’s custom built motorcycle includes sponsorship from Yamaha/Yamaha GYTR, BST Carbon Fiber Wheels, Brock’s Performance, Akrapovic, Saddlemen, Graves, Race Tech, ASV, BMP, Bazzaz, K&N, Driven Racing, Avon Grips, Goodridge, Gilles Tooling, Pit Bull, Hot Bodies, and Sharkskinz. Motorcycle re-working was completed by Chris Costa at Yamaha of Cucamonga with transportation by Kendon Trailers and JC Motors Motorcycle shipping, and photos by Go Pro.
