Despite being its inaugural season in the MotoAmerica Supersport class, the Rahal Ducati Moto team has a strong pedigree, with Graham Rahal being an INDYCAR Series race-winner and Ben Spies one of the most successful motorcycle racers in recent years.
As the team prepares for its maiden appearance at the legendary Daytona 200 next month, U.K.-based R&G announced it will be protecting the Rahal Ducati Moto Panigale V2s of PJ Jacobsen, Kayla Yaakov and Corey Alexander throughout 2024. R&G will be supplying its race-proven engine case covers, carbon fiber shark guards and tank grips.
The new partnership will further strengthen the British brand’s presence stateside, with R&G currently a sponsor of the MotoAmerica series as well as the chosen crash protection supplier for Team Hammer Inc. and 2023 Superbike Cup National Champion Nolan Lamkin.
Simon Hughes, managing director of R&G, added, “We are absolutely delighted to be working with Rahal Ducati Moto in what is set to be a very exciting inaugural year for the team. We see working with Rahal Ducati Moto as pivotal to our ever-expanding marketing and development program in North America, and everyone at R&G wishes them the best of luck for the 2024 campaign!”
