FIN GPS Recovers 2018 Kawasaki Ninja ZX-10R

A reminder to all dealers and customers that a theft can occur anywhere.

Find It Now GPS Security (FIN) successfully recovered a 2018 Kawasaki Ninja stolen from a Florida powersports dealership.

A FIN customer received a motion detection alert while his bike was being serviced at his local dealership. That motion alert was later followed by a speed exceed alert. A bit perplexed, the customer logged into the FIN-MAN app and noticed his bike was reporting several miles from the dealership. He used the Find It Now feature within the app and tracked it to an apartment complex where the bike came to a complete stop.

The customer visited the dealership and asked several members of the service department about his bike. The service technicians searched for the customer’s bike to no avail. One of the service technicians mentioned that the bike was seen earlier in the morning and that the keys might’ve been left in the ignition. The customer immediately called the FIN theft recovery line followed by his local police to report the bike stolen.

FIN’s theft recovery team tracked the bike, and it continued to report at the same apartment complex from earlier. The customer, members of the dealership and the police made their way to the last reported location. The police were able to locate the bike, apprehend the thief, and successfully recovered the bike and keys within minutes. This is a reminder to all dealers and customers that a theft can occur anywhere, even when you least expect it.
