Colorado State Patrol Selects MSF for Safety Training

The Public Safety Department’s evaluation team unanimously selected the MSF for another five-year agreement.

The State of Colorado’s Department of Public Safety, Colorado State Patrol, selected the Motorcycle Safety Foundation (MSF) to continue to support Colorado’s Motorcycle Operator Safety Training (MOST) program, assist in program promotion and expand public awareness of motorcycle safety. The Public Safety Department’s evaluation team unanimously selected the MSF for another five-year agreement, continuing a successful legacy of supporting the program.

“The Motorcycle Safety Foundation has been a strong partner in the effort to help every rider, both new and experienced, develop the skills they need to ride safely,” stated Chief of the Colorado State Patrol Matthew C. Packard. “We hope Coloradoans take advantage of the MOST program and continue to enjoy riding through the beautiful communities across the state.”

“Our research-based curriculum, recognized in 46 states across the country and worldwide by the U.S. military, continues to set the industry standard for motorcycle rider education and training programs,” said Erik Pritchard, MSF president and CEO. “We look forward to continuing our work with Colorado State Patrol and riders in Colorado.”
